The “Picture Postcard Shop” is marked by a retro red postbox that blends in with the streets of the Momen Kaido. The shop owner, Takahashi of Kyogofuku Takahashi, was born and raised on the Momen Kaido, and there are about 300 kinds of postcards with motifs of Funakawa, Lake Shinji, and the scenery of the Momen Kaido lined up, making it seem like a small art museum. In the experience, you can create your own original picture postcard using art materials such as watercolors, pastels, and art markers, and send it from the red postbox on the spot. Even if it’s your first time, you can rest assured as Takahashi will carefully support you. Why not enjoy an art experience while listening to the history of the Momen Kaido from Takahashi, who also works as a guide?
